This rectangular 60w PV Logic solar panel is long and narrow and best suited to roofs or deck tops with limited, or awkward, space.

Delivering up to 390wh per day, the 60w panel is suitable for powering most DC and some AC appliances via a separately purchased inverter.

It is supplied with built in reverse L brackets to ensure a minimal footprint.

Benefitting from a 10 year product warranty, it is supplied with a 4m cable, terminals, fuse and detailed installation instructions. NOTE – A charge controller will be needed to protect a battery from reverse feed and overcharging.

With power ratings ranging from 5W to 200W, these rigid solar panels fulfil a variety of energy needs, from a continuous feed of power to prevent battery drain in caravans, motorhomes and boats, to enabling energy self-sufficiency for living off-grid.

Rigid panels also deliver energy to remote power systems, such as electric fences and gates, as well as eg pumps in garden ponds.

Rigid solar panels rated 80w and above include bypass diodes to minimise the effect of shadows so that energy output is optimised.

A charge controller should be employed with rigid solar panels of 20w and above.

This protects the battery from being overcharged and to prevent reverse current drain.
