Sleipner Solenoids
A Sleipner solenoid acts as a switch, controlling the flow of high current to the thruster motor. It’s a vital component of the thruster system, enabling the motor to run and produce thrust.
Solenoids are designed to handle the high amperage needed to power the thruster and can also incorporate safety features like overheat protection and anti-weld protection.
