Sleipner Thruster Motors

In a Sleipner bow or stern thruster, the electric motor’s primary function is to drive the propellers that create the “thrust”, allowing the boat to be moved sideways, using lateral propulsion. The motor’s voltage level and the efficiency of the system influence the amount of thrust produced.

If you have an older model of thruster, you should check the compatibility of current motors before ordering, as in some cases, a replacement thruster will be required.
