Isotemp Thermostats
On an Isotemp hot water tank, the thermostat’s primary function is to regulate the water temperature when the heating element is in use, ensuring the water reaches a safe and desired temperature without overheating. Some Isotemp models may also feature a thermostat mixing valve, which dilutes the hot water with cold water at the output to prevent scalding and provide a consistent, safe temperature at the faucet.
