A Danfoss compressor’s primary function is to be the heart of a refrigeration or air conditioning system, using refrigerant to absorb heat from an area and then expel it, maintaining a cool temperature. It does this by compressing the refrigerant, increasing its pressure and temperature, allowing it to circulate through the system. Danfoss specializes in creating energy-efficient, reliable, and innovative compressors for a wide range of applications, from residential refrigerators to large commercial systems.
A condenser in a fridge releases heat, cooling and transforming the high-pressure, hot refrigerant gas from the compressor into a liquid, thereby expelling the heat extracted from inside the refrigerator to the surrounding environment.
