SE IP Series Thrusters
SE IP Series thrusters are housed in watertight housings.
These are for use in the stern, and in places likely to be exposed to gasoline fumes.
These thrusters are fully ignition protected for use in boats with petrol engines.
They have a hermetically sealed composite housing around all electric parts.
This provides the ignition protection, so that no petrol fumes can enter, and be ignited by sparks.
All electric parts are also covered and protected.
These thrusters are the ideal choice for installations where it is difficult to ensure that the thruster will always remain dry.
