Sleipner Anodes
A Sleipner thruster anode, also known as a sacrificial anode, is designed to protect the thruster’s metal components from corrosion caused by galvanic corrosion in saltwater environments. It works by corroding itself instead of the more valuable metal parts of the thruster.
