Webasto Sensors and Glowpins
In a Webasto heater, the glowpin ignites the fuel and air mixture, initiating the heating process. It acts as an electrical resistor, creating the heat necessary to start the combustion in the heater’s burner.
The exhaust gas temperature (EGT) sensor monitors the temperature of the exhaust gases exiting the heater, which helps prevent overheating of the heater and its components, and ensures optimal performance.
