Self-Repairing Material
The ETFE layers give the 60w flexi more resilience in very harsh conditions. ETFE has a memory effect or self-healing structure in case of accidental damage (eg from tree branches) , making sure any scratches are ‘repaired’ within a few hours. The flexi series is even safe to walk over (carefully!) The structure is dimpled to give more protection to the panel, and create an anti-slip surface, which is especially useful on the deck of a boat!
100% Waterproof
Every panel is designed to be completely sealed. The six layers of heavy-duty laminate protect the solar cell circuit in all kinds of wet conditions. The junction box also contains a protective layer of silicon, ensuring no water ingress whatsoever.
Ergonomic design
The PV Logic flexi solar panel has no square edges. Rounded corners and a rounded junction box make for improved adhesion, preventing snags and sharp edges. The junction box is physically attached as well as being bonded to the panel. The 4m UV stabilised PV cable is designed in such a way that it cannot be accidentally pulled from the junction box.
Easy to Fit
The flexi range can be applied to flat or slight curved surfaces (3cm curve per metre) eg: painted aluminium, metal, GRP and fibreglass using Simson ISR 70-03.
