The Isotemp Slim series of marine water heaters have a smaller diameter (12 inches) and longer length, than the Basic series, but are otherwise identical. They also have a brushed stainless steel cover, and the same innovative internal design.
They achieve the highest possible capacity through optimised installation of the engine water heat exchanger, as well as the immersion heater.
The new Slim series of calorifiers are just 12″ in diameter, are perfect for all sizes of yacht, as they can be mounted in lockers, or under bunks and are supplied as complete kits ready to install. The design allows both horizontal and vertical mounting.
Isotemp marine water heaters are specifically designed for the use on yachts and boats. Only high quality components are chosen to ensure the best product performance. These marine water heaters are very robust and efficiently insulated to keep warm water available at all times, whatever the conditions.
A key feature is the thermostatic mixing valve that mixes a small amount of the hot water from the tank with cold water from your fresh-water system. This conserves the heated water and is important for cruisers who want to minimize power consumption.
The polyurethane insulation minimizes heat loss and the water in the tank will stay hot for up to 24 hours. (Results will vary with the amount of hot water drawn from the tank.)
Isotemp Slim water heaters come with a safety relief valve.
We recommend fitting the largest tank in the available space. Be sure when measuring to leave a few inches at the end for fittings.
