Isotemp Basic 24 Water Heater

Even the smallest water-cooled marine engine discharges large amounts of wasted hot water. By configuring the engine to pump the water around a water storage tank, you can supply your boat with piping hot water.

These Isotemp calorifiers will typically heat up the water within 20 minutes of the engine starting, and can remain hot for up to 24 hours.

Isotemp Marine Water Heaters

The three main Isotemp models are the Basic, Slim and Spa models. Both the water tank and external cylinder are made of stainless steel in Basic and Slim models, while the Spa range features the same internal tank in stainless steel and an outer casing made of high quality polypropylene.

Isotemp Stainless Steel Marine Water Heaters are specifically designed for use in the demanding marine environment. The key feature is a brushed stainless steel cover and a 316-grade stainless steel inner tank that is backed by a 5-year limited warranty against leakage due to corrosion or manufacturing defect.

Isotemp Marine Water Heaters – Model Sizes

The Basic models are 395mm in diameter. The Slim models are 295mm in diameter. The Spa models are 310mm and 390mm in diameter. Isotemp Basic Water Heaters – Sizes

Both the Isotemp Basic line and the Isotemp Slim lines of Stainless Steel Marine Water Heaters come with a brushed stainless steel cover as well as innovative internal design. They achieve the highest capacity via optimal installation of the engine water heat exchanger as well as the immersion heater. The Basic line has a larger diameter (16 inches) and shorter length.

Isotemp Basic 24 – Anti-Flare

The Anti-Flare option is designed specifically for boats with gasoline engines, and is designed to provide extra safety on board.

Isotemp Basic 24 – Double Coil

The Basic 24, 40 and 75 are the only three models that have the double heat exchanger option. The double coil is sometimes used by boat owners who have Webasto water heating, to maximize use of the heating. They are often used in conjunction with two engines, such as a main engine and a generator, to take advantage of the surplus heat provided by two separate sources.
